The Yes Youth Cohort Launch hosted by Mercedes-Benz in commemoration of Youth Month left me inspired and motivated more than ever in reaching my dreams. I didn’t realize how impactful of being part of the YES Program would be and the immense change it would make not only in my life but also in the development of the country.
One phrase that stood out to me was “We See You.” This highlighted that the youth, all have fresh, new, and creative ideas, and all we need is a chance to showcase our talents. And they noticed the fact that the youth, are often not recognized or are overlooked in society and the workplace.
Mercedes-Benz took the initiative to empower the youth, aiming not only to alleviate the high unemployment rate in South Africa but also to be a part of the change in developing and improving the status of the country. They encouraged us to continue pursuing our dreams and goals.
